Press accreditation open for the meeting of the G20 Task Force to Establish a Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty

Media accreditation is now open for professionals interested in covering the meeting of the G20 Task Force to Establish a Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty in Rio de Janeiro on July 24.
The meeting will formalize the constitutive documents of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty and, from there, begin the process of registering interested countries to join.
The credential will give access to the launch of the report "The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2024", scheduled for 9 a.m., as well as to other sessions open to the press and possible press conferences.
ATTENTION
Registration for the opening session of the Task Force meeting, to be attended by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and First Lady Janja Lula da Silva, at 11 a.m., must be done separately via this link.
Registration for the event "Public Policies to Combat Hunger and Poverty: Empowering Women and Girls for Sustainable Development", scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on July 24, also at the Citizenship Shed, must be done through a separate registration form.
The Alliance was initially proposed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and is currently being developed during Brasil's presidency of the group.
Open to all countries, the Alliance seeks to coordinate actions as well as technical and financial partnerships to support the implementation of national programs in the countries that join the proposal, chosen from a pool of successful experiences in policies to combat hunger and poverty.
