Sherpa Track

The aim of the WG is to promote cooperation in addressing critical issues for agriculture such as food security, sustainable agriculture, technological innovation, and climate change.

Anti-Corruption

The WG should formulate anticorruption standards that strengthen the implementation of international instruments, in particular the United Nations Convention against Corruption

The WG's goal is to foment actions aimed at harnessing the potential of culture, its impact on the economy and on sustainable and inclusive development

Disaster Risk Reduction

The WG tackles critical global issues related to crisis and disaster management. It fulfills a pivotal role in fostering resilience, risk prevention and mitigation

The WG aims to establish a development and poverty reduction agenda and engage non-G20 developing countries in the group's work

Digital Economy

The Digital Economy Working Group deals with themes related to connectivity, digital government, information integrity and artificial intelligence

The main objectives of the WG are to value education professionals and connect managers and professionals to sustainable development practices

The WG's priority will be to develop actions to create quality jobs and promote decent work in order to guarantee social inclusion and eliminate poverty

Energy Transitions

The WG's priority is to debate the global transition towards the use of sustainable energy sources and the paths towards a just, accessible and inclusive energy transition

Environment and Climate Sustainability

The WG will discuss adaptation to extreme events, payments for ecosystem services, oceans, as well as waste and the circular economy.

The WG addresses relevant issues of global health and drives international cooperation and coordinated action, including the construction of resilient health systems.

The WG aims to promote sustainable development in the sector, with a focus on international cooperation and strengthening multilateral institutions

Trade and Investment

The WG aims to promote the growth of global trade and cooperation between investment policies, supporting multilateral negotiations and inclusive global value chains

Research and Innovation

The WG, which will be created during the G20 Brasil, proposes to advance access to and transfer of technology to developing countries

Women’s Empowerment

The WG purpose is to support countries in tackling gender inequality and boosting women's empowerment in its different dimensions

Task forces

Global Mobilization against Climate Change

The TF will promote high-level dialogue between governments, financial institutions and international organizations on global macroeconomic and the implementation of the objectives of the Paris Agreement

Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty

The TF has the goal of raising funds and knowledge for the implementation of public policies and social technologies proven to be effective in reducing hunger and poverty in the world

Initiative

The initiative is structured around three themes: Science, Technology and Innovation, the sustainable use of biodiversity and the role of the bioeconomy in promoting sustainable development
