The 3rd meeting of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Presidents will be held on July 25 and 26 (Thursday and Friday) at the Windsor Hotel in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

Accreditation for the Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting (July 22 and 23) must be done separately.

Criteria

Each media outlet may register up to two teams. Each company must meet the following criteria:

* Television: one reporter, one cinematographic reporter, one technician/assistant;
* Radio: one reporter;
* Newspaper/Magazine: one reporter and one photographic reporter;
* News Agency: one reporter and one photographic reporter; and
* News Website (Internet Outlets): one reporter and one photographic reporter.

Foreign teams from the same media outlet are considered different teams and must respect the same criteria established for the national outlets.

The number of workstations in the press room is limited.

After the accreditation period closes on July 8 and no later than July 14, an email will be sent to confirm or reject applications. When an accreditation request is concluded, a green confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen. This does not mean the request has been accepted; it only means that it has been registered correctly.

To request accreditation, the press professional must present a letter from the media outlet it represents, on their letterhead and signed by their supervisor, assigning them to cover the specific event. It is recommended that media outlets issue one single letter per event, listing the names of all professionals requesting accreditation.

Producers or editors requesting team accreditation must be aware of the need to use different email addresses for each professional.

Credentials will grant access to the places reserved for the press, with working stations and Wi-Fi access.

This accreditation is exclusive to press professionals. Press advisors from the delegations must be registered as delegates and will not have their requests to register as press taken into consideration.

Credentials Delivery

Credentials will be handed in on July 21 (Sunday) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Windsor Hotel Conventions Center press room.

Each professional must retrieve their own credential. However, should the media outlets choose to designate one person authorized to retrieve all credentials, they must send an email message (using the same email address used for registration) to pressg20@fazenda.gov.br informing the name and document number of the authorized person. Retrieval of credentials by third parties will only be authorized in writing.

Credentials not retrieved in due time may be given to other media outlets, according to the waiting list.
